Q4OS - BDLL Week of April 11, 2020 through April 18, 2020

We’ve come and gone with yet another week, and it was great to see everyone join in Zoom and on YouTube for a fantastic show. This show marked our first week with the Q4OS distro challenge, and some great conversations about testing and contributing, as well as our distro-hopping tendencies and the effects they may have. You can watch the stream archive on YouTube here!

There will also be an audio only version available here!

This week’s distro challenge is still Q4OS, based on Debian and focuses on delivering speed while requiring relatively minimal system resources. They claim: “We focus on security, reliability, long-term stability and conservative integration of verified new features.”

Please note that you are not obligated to do the challenge if you don’t want to, but everyone is free to participate!
